Bangkok Hospital

Bangkok, the capital of Thailand, is one of Asia's leading medical tourism destinations, with an international reputation for its excellent medical facilities, Western-trained doctors and number of procedures available. Bangkok is particularly well known for cosmetic surgery and is one of the most popular places in the world for sex reassignment surgery. Tourists are often attracted to Bangkok hospitals because the hospitals there offer excellent facilities and procedures to medical tourists for a fraction of the price of those in Western countries.

  1. I think the Bangkok Hospital is a Human-made attraction as it showcases modern human-made attractions which revolve around modern medicine.

  3. I agree with vi chien and zhi lin. Maybe it could be an event attraction too? Because the different medical procedures offered there attract visitors.

  7. And part of educational tourism.
Professors from other countries, foreign exchange students may come here to practice medicine or learn more about the technology available here so that they can propose the idea of the upgrading in their country?
I am sure the hospital also does workshops and seminars so that people (both local and international) can learn from them.

  8. Good thinking! Yes, there is such a thing as medical tourism.

And, Sanaa, yes, i think it could be educational too if there are foreigners attached to the hospital to learn. Do you have any evidence? Could you put that up?
